Welcome to the site that celebrates the art of acting. The most prominent actors show their skill in theatre, and that is the place that shows the real talent and knowledge of the artist. We welcome you to our theatre where you can watch various plays and submit your scripts that might end up as plays in the future.
Why Choose Our Theatre
You should choose our theatre because we are willing to display less-known plays that you didn’t see several times already. We are open toward new scripts, and many of the successful entries are turned into plays you can watch. So, if you are interested in theatre, then we are the best choice for the likes of you.
Our Best Plays
We support indie writers and their shows, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t do some big titles in our theatre. We can’t pay Hollywood stars, but we have a huge group of dedicated actors that act in many plays we show, including these three.
The Glass Menagerie
The Glass Menagerie is one of the big plays we are showing at the moment. This is a timeless piece which is originally written by Tennessee Williams that premiered back in 1994. Our iteration won’t stick to every line he wrote, and instead of that, you will see a modern take on this wonderful classic.
Sweeney Todd is a piece that has appeared both in theatre and on the large screen multiple times during its existence. We decided to try something new, and instead of a musical, you will see a play that tells this intriguing story. So, those interested in new ways to approach classic pieces should come and watch this one.
The Skin of Our Teeth
Theatre always welcomes well-written drama, and The Skin of Our Teeth is one of the best there is. Our iteration of this drama piece is identical to the original as it told a surreal fantasy story that had a powerful theme at its core.

When you think about theatre, you probably think of it as a place where you can go and watch drama and comedy plays. And that is normal as those two genres are the most prominent in the theatre.
Drama as a genre is perfect for the stage as actors can deliver excellent breath-taking performances that rely on dialogue rather than other aspects of the acting you usually see in other genres and on other platforms.
Political drama VS Historic political drama
Now, political drama is a variation of this style that takes on subjects that aren’t as defined as they should be. This includes everything from gay issue and racism to wars and other political matters. Political drama has a subject, and the actors are there to convey the ideas that lie behind it. It is like an argument where the goal isn’t to conclude but to deliver those arguments to viewers and let them decide who is right and who is wrong.
The historical, political drama takes on critical historical moments and delivers them to the audience. For example, there is the Oslo, a masterfully written piece by the J.T. Rodgers, a contemporary writer of excellent political drama.
Oslo – The art of writing historical, political pieces
is known as a writer that takes moments that defined modern history and turns them in excellent drama plays. Oslo is his third take on historical moments, and it focuses on Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. The process of negotiations for peace was thought to be impossible, and that makes this play excellent.
The story follows a Norwegian sociologist and his wife and their efforts to organize peace talks. The play also covers the actual negotiation process and all the stress and drama that unfolded during those historical moments.
J.T. Rodgers knows how to approach a subject and that knowledge allows him to write characters that are believable and enthralling. The play is full of debates that delve deep into the issues that surrounded peace talks that were thought to be improbable and impossible.
Theatre has been one of the most important media for a long time, and it is still relevant in the modern times. But the relevance of the theatre changed over the time as movie industry took over the spotlight.
In this article, we want to discuss theatre and its role in the modern time as well as the changes it had to forgo to adapt to the new audience.
The stage of the theatre was the starting point of many famous actors, especially those that started in the UK. This, however, is a thing of the past and the movie stars of the modern days have little or no experience in the theatre. If you compare actors with and those without stage experience, then you will notice that those with experience are much better method actors. This difference comes from the need to express the feelings on the stage and convince the live audience in those sentiments.
Theatre actors are excellent in roles that require the commitment to the part as they can turn into the role rather than just play it. A stage is a place where mistakes are evident, and only the best can act and satisfy both the critics and the audience.
The state of the theatre
An actor that can go on the stage and act for two hours and satisfy the audience is an individual that mastered the art of acting. This isn’t easy, and you can’t compare it to any other acting media. Actors practiced for years before they got a chance to act in front of a huge audience.
The theatre is still relevant, but it isn’t as relevant as it was several decades ago. Even still, if an actor wants to improve their method acting and to become someone who can tackle complex roles, then they will turn toward the theatre. The stage will teach them how to approach complex characters and convey all the emotions the role requires.
The theatre might not be the most relevant media at the moment, but it is still the best place for actors to show how talented they are.
